Re: Rich Bell passed away He will be greatly missed, his username here was barnstuf. We had a long conversation at the beginning of the year and I was planning to go meet him when we go up to the Cape this August. I'm very glad he got to share many of his stories here. Here is a nice article written about him from last July. Sounds like he lived one hell of a life. |
Re: Rich Bell passed away I probably met Rich in the mid 70's, most likely at a flea market, bought lots of parts from over the years. He was a wealth of information and I enjoyed listening to his stories of Model A'ing in the early days. He was a great guy and those of us who used to see him regularly will miss him.

Re: Rich Bell passed away Another Model A icon has passed away. I did not know him, but the article listed by ryanheacox says it all. He was a patriot, a model citizen and a friend of the Model A hobby. His generation is the reason we are all free. We must never forget. May he rest in peace. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Re: Rich Bell passed away Rest in peace my friend. Always enjoyed a short visit with him when we got to go to the Cape. His shop was like a time machine. Oldman
