Transport recommendations

Hi
I'm new to the group. My Father passed last month (he was 91 and really missing Mom so it was a good thing) and I have inherited a 31 /Model A coupe which has was restored about 15 years ago, and has been sitting under a cover in his garage for the past 5 years.
The first challenge will be getting it from Central Utah to Northwest Arkansas where I live. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The move will be in April or May.
Once I get eyes on it, I'm sure there will be questions about fluids, belts, hoses, and such. Finally I will probably need to pull the head to see if he did the valve seats when it was restored several years ago.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Transport recommendations

Why not just rent a UHAUL vehicle transporter (trailer) and tow it to your home?

I now there is a gentleman on here that has a transport company-sorry don't remember his name. Also, there are several car transport companies that Hagerty, and the auction houses use as well.

Re: Transport recommendations

I used Amerifreight, a broker out of Florida to transport my 30 pickup from Ohio to Oregon. I was very happy with them. I dealt with a Richard Jernigan.

I've used Reliable Carriers several times although they are probably the most expensive.
Last time delivering my'33, I used Montway. Also great results and less expensive.
Note: Montway sub-brokers, (which was not a problem), meaning the truck that hauls the car might be a different company.
I'd use them again.

Sorry about the loss of your father. Glad that you are keeping his A.

Sorry about the loss of your dad as well, and welcome to the world of Model A Fords. Your coupe will find it's way back to Arkansas in due time.

I recommend Bill Squires of Bill's Auto Works. He provided excellent service for me in a cross-country transport. Not cheap, but good. See post #4 above.

TRULY VINTAGE, he's a member here and does post from time to time. He transported a vette for me (my brother actually) from CT to FL, very trustworthy. I (we) would use him again.

When I moved my coupe from NJ home to PA I used a Penske truck to pull a Penske car trailer. Their equipment is top-notch and fairly priced. They are available both round-trip and one-way.

If the OP is looking for an actual business and not just some guy pulling a trailer that has no insurance ...

I have been in business since 2006 - I wrote the code for my website that I built.

I have been here on FordBarn since 2010.

Before Miss Shelly sold it to Ryan - I posted a box ad at the top of
both ChevyBarn and FordBarn.

Today I dropped off this 1951 Ford Victoria in North Phoenix, AZ
that I picked up at The Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum
in Auburn, IN last week.

This is the second time I have transported this particular car.
