1931 steering column brace bracket installation in...... Hi
I need to install a 1931 steering column brace bracket in my early 1929 Ford Tudor as I have a small gas tank leak to solve. Anyone have some pictures to share on how to attach/install it. This is the steering bracket I have to install: http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...psbmcyyi1z.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...psrkv0ttfq.jpg Thank you !! Daniel |
Re: 1931 steering column brace bracket installation in...... Did you try to see if it fits or can be adapted somehow under the dash rail on your '29 ? That style is used as you state on later cars with 2 tooth steering and bolts to the cross rail mating sections with the dash cover removed for easier access. The projecting pin slips into a recess (hole) in the cross pieces.
