What's a new fan belt equivalent?

There was a thread a while back that discussed new fan belts that could be used on the Model A. Search function gave me no satisfaction. Can someone give me a lead on the new part number and source?

Google is your friend! :)

Try this search:
fanbelt site:fordbarn.com
It will lead you to this thread: http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50061

or to this one: http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showpo...0&postcount=10

(I think Google is a better search for Fordbarn than what the site provides! )

I get my fan belts from Brattons. I spray them with rustoleum primer so they look more original and they fit every time. The red primer turns a little darker in time but it stays on and looks great.

Thank you, BillLee and Glenn. I also found a reference to a Dayton belt in Les Andrews. Problem solved.
