Can anyone advise tire pressures for restored 1950 Crestliner front and rear???

What kind and size are your tires? Radial or bias? It makes a difference.

Pressure should also be in numbers on the sidewall.

Those numbers are the maximum safe pressure for the tire, a "do not exceed" number. You may want a little less pressure for better ride.

Yes, the MAX Pressure will be listed on the tires sidewall...
If they are radial tires, you could run 3 to 5 pounds less than the Max listed.
Don't go by your old car owners manual recommendation on pressure,
as tires, and the pressure they need, has changed a lot over the years. ;)

Don't run Radial tires too low on pressure though, they don't like that.

My 49 - 51 Ford Passenger Car Shop Manual, page 308 lists:

Front Rear

with my 50 cpe I run 35 lbs frt and rear tire size is 225/70/15. radial ben in the service business 52 years bias ply tires were run in the middle to upper 20s the pressure that’s on the side is maximum that the manufacturer of the tire recommends the majority of the CARS that came into my shop pretty much were the same between 33-36 lbs on radial tires

On my 51 Coupe I'm running 6.70x15 Coker bias ply's. According to the glove box tag, front should be at 24psi and the rear at 21psi. That's what I have it at and it drives very well. Douglas
