Hard to find

Looking for a Script coil and jack handle for my 1931 68C.

Vendors either no longer carry or do not stock the coil and all are out of stock on the handle.

Thank you for any assistance you may have in locating a source either one.

Re: Hard to find

If you still have your script coil, it is just a canister with a modern coil in it. Twist the coil end with one hand and the other hand gripping the canister, twist in opposite directions. Once it breaks loose, keep twisting and pull the two pieces apart. Get a new coil and push it into the canister. Make sure when you put it in, the plus side pole goes on the drivers side for the red wire.

I don't think that is a NOS coil! I've never seen an original coil with spade connectors on the primary terminals. Nor labeled "6V" on the back. Probably a recently made import.
