Does 1929 Open Ford Roadster Windshield Latch?

Does 1929 Open Ford Roadster Windshield latch in some fashion or when you pull it in, pull it shut does it just hang there loose?

Only if you leave the wing nuts loose at the top
Close the window and tighten the wing nuts and, the window will stay closed
