Route to MARC 2019 National Meet
 

We have a group of 9 A's driving from Eastern Iowa to Dearborn for the National Meet. We are going South around Chicago and will be leaving Nappanee, IN on Sunday morning, August 4th. Our plan is to catch Highway 12 just West of Sturgis, MI and take 12 all the way into Dearborn. I have had a couple people tell me that 12 is Model A friendly, but would like to know if others agree. We will be staying at the Host Hotel and 12 is very close.

A second question, does anyone have a special Model A route from Dearborn to Hickory Corners Gilmore Museum? We plan to spend a day at the Gilmore Museum on our way home.

I'm one of those people who posted on your Facebook thread.

I've driven from Chicago to Dearborn at least four or five times in my A and we always pick up 12 in Gary, Indiana and take that. It's a great Model A Road. Lots of small towns and A friendly roads.

The route works, my wife and I have travelled it several times and we live in Wakarusa about fifteen minutes from Nappanee.
