I have never seen this style of U Joint. What do you know? Model A?

Seth, I have had a number of those. I am 99% certain they are early production after-market units.

A good friend of mine was just on the text line telling me this is 1928, model A and they are junk.

Seth, I never did use one as I had a good stock of NOS Ford units.

Your friend that said they were junk... did he say why he thought that?

Model A I believe and yes, do not use them.

As stated that is a Model A u-joint used until about March 1931.

If it is still fairly tight (and not crusty inside) some model A person may want it for originality.
