Anyone recognize this Ford triple crank pulley? I bought this pulley at Hershey last year as a blower pulley for a flathead.
I wasn't paying attention that all three pulleys weren't the same size. So, that started me thinking that perhaps this was a bus pulley with two belts for the dual water pump belt arrangement, and the third smaller belt for an accessory item. Anyway, anyone recognize this pulley as a big truck pulley, ambulance pulley, bus pulley, etc? http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...psd2w8gssm.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...pszi1ykzi0.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...psbeepuqeq.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...psuxsytnxn.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...pst1db4qun.jpg |
Re: Anyone recognize this Ford triple crank pulley? This site shows an original 3-pulley but not like yours.

Re: Anyone recognize this Ford triple crank pulley? I was thinking maybe for a flathead V8 big truck or bus with air brakes that used an air compressor.

Re: Anyone recognize this Ford triple crank pulley? I didn't know about the stock ford triple pulley generator! Now I want one!
Anyone have one? |

Re: Anyone recognize this Ford triple crank pulley? I don't believe that pulley was used with the '37-'41 truck pumps. The grooves in the truck pumps are adjacent to each other, your pulley has a space between the grooves that would be used with the truck pumps.

Re: Anyone recognize this Ford triple crank pulley? Since it doesn´t have a built in spiral for oil it looks like a newer style pulley.
Diameter of the hole ? The French flatheads had 3 groove pulleys...not sure how they look. |
