It looks as if this stuff will end up in China and be melted down and come back as vintage chevy parts. Free to a good home 530 340 1651

Put an ad on Craigslist for Nor Cal and for the Medford area. Several V-8 guys in the Medford area.

Not sure what he has Tom, but does seem a shame to trash parts for our years.

Or, saying it another way, "one man's trash is another man's treasure"?:D

i think there are people who look here for parts and cars every day, but do not necessarily participate in the forums. so, an ad in the "for sale" section may get some results. good luck, thanks for the effort. also, scrap is at an all time low now, so either way, you are giving it away

It has been in the for sale area with a free price. A guy in Florida begged me to ship him the front spring for his 46 as his was broken. He paid shipping and gave me a few bucks. I hate to scrap it. It is a short drive from Arizona Ha ha

Tim, I know your pain.

Here in the Medford area, you see very few 41-48 cars and when the those years come up, for sale, it takes a while to sell them, usually.

A big part of selling chassis parts, out of the area, is shipping. I just sold a 41 Zephyr OD, trans to San Diego. I sold it for $560 but, the shipping was another $349.

There is a guy in the Myrtle Creek area (72 miles North of me), that sells early Ford stuff. Have you found him? If not, look in the Roseburg, Craigslist.

Tim, I found your post in the swap meet section, along with your pictures.

Looks to me like the real value pieces are the ring and pinion gears and the two rear axles if the ends aren't too beat up. The gear ratio might be stamped on the bottom of the differential (if not worn of by now) and would be of interest to a perspective buyer.

I don't have a need for either the gears or the axles right now, but hopefully the extra visibility here on the Forum with these posts will help you clean up your stuff before the move.

Best of luck....Dick.

Tim, if you can determine that the gears are 3.54 there will be somebody coming to get them.
