Tire Ooze Cleaner I have Universal tires on my 190A and they are oozing a brown substance through the sidewalls. I have tried many, but I have not found a tire cleaner that takes the ooze off thoroughly even after brushing. I am all ears & eyes for your recommendations.

Re: Tire Ooze Cleaner Have you tried Westleys Bleche-White? That stuff used to take everything off whitewalls, would probably clean off blackwalls just as well.

Re: Tire Ooze Cleaner I had a set of Universals that I replaced with GoodYears. The reason was I could never get the w/w clean. Lesson learned buy cheap don’t expect quality. I’ll Never buy them again .

I don't have a "before" picture but mine were like you described, maybe worse. This is what I used and I am very happy how they turned out.

Re: Tire Ooze Cleaner You can clean whitewalls with NevrDull. It works quite well, but I'd wash them off with soapwater afterwards just to be sure.

Re: Tire Ooze Cleaner Dmaxweb, thanks for the tip, I will try Super Clean.

Re: Tire Ooze Cleaner I had a brownish-goldish hew on my Firestones on the A in my avatar after either sitting for awhile or sun exposure. I use STP's Son of a Gun tire cleaner which works very well.
