Tim,
Unfamiliar with such. Could you describe or place pics here to help with your question, i.e.- flathead/OHV head what and condition, compression ratio, etc///

Thanks Ghost,
I lost track of that site and and got a "Could not find" message with the link you gave. It was close enough though and I found it under www.nwvs.org.

I also have one in my collection. My personal opinion is the value is probably in the $500.00 range. It is not as popular as what a Winfield head would be but then the rarity makes up for that in my views. It is just where your priorities are placed.

Rallum was made by the Reus Bros out of Baltimore. I had a Reus head but sold it to the Smith Musuem. Got $700 for it. Made in the 30's. Ken

This a very late response to my own thread, I did buy the Rallum head and it has been sitting in my garage since I first posted. I shot a few pictures of it to place it up for sale but though I would post here first. tim

How can you tell the compression ratio of a head sitting on the bench?

Re: Rallum Head

Screw in a spark plug, buy a CC tube, fill it with sugar, then pour it into the combustion chamber to see how many CC's it takes to make it level. Compare that to an original head.
