Nissan distributor for Model A

I have read that a Nissan electronic distributor with some modifications is a good installation on a modified Model A engine and wonder if anyone can tell me which model Nissan it would come from? (four plugs not eight)

Don't know about the Nissan but here is a link to a Honda distributor.

I run a Mallory dual point built for a Datsun, later named Nissan. It takes some minor lathe work to make it fit the head, and a new drive shaft was needed, not a problem.

Automatic advance.

There are several advantages to a modern dist. Automatic advance is one, but they also have more dwell time (duration) which gives hotter spark, parts are available at many more places than Model A, are better designed and are generally not worn as much as an 85 year old unit.
