Anyone have a pic of the proper routing for a 1935 p/c speedo cable Routing my speedo cable on my 1935 it a has later tranny and pedal (39) wondering whats the best route.

Re: Anyone have a pic of the proper routing for a 1935 p/c speedo cable There is a good picture in the 1935-1936 Ford Book that the V-8 Club sells. I just ran mine in my 1936 pickup. It is stock so this may not apply for your changes.
Connect the cable to the 'turtle' on the torque tube. Then run it through the first hole in the cross member. Along the edge of the bottom of the cross member should be a hole in which a B-9295 (with bolt, lock washer and nut) clip holds it to the frame. From there it goes to the hole in the cowl and into the body. It should be held in place to the cowl insulator by two more B-9295 clips and machine screws and flat washers. |
