The Ford Barn - 1941 Ford 1/2 ton pickup with 9N 4 cylinder

• Less than 51,000 miles on original drivetrain.
• Very rare 9N 4 cylinder motor with 4 speed transmission, 6 volt positive ground, with Optima 6V battery in Ford original style script case.
• This is a mostly “correct” old truck. All steel, very solid body in good condition, way older paint in barely fair condition, right rear fender needs re-working. Most chrome and all glass very good. New front bumper, grille guard, hood “whiskers”, and complete grill assembly. New tailgate. Good tires.
• Front end redone, replaced spring and bushings, drag link and tie rod, improved steering column bushing and new steering wheel, front and rear window seals, floor mat; replaced brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brake lines, and master cylinder, replaced complete wiring harness, fuel lines, plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap. The truck handles and brakes very nicely now.
• Motor runs good but at 40 HP is very slow…watch out for hills! Clutch is at the end of its adjustment and will need replacement soon…does not slip however. Transmission shifts hard - do not know if it needs a rebuild or just have the tower (linkage) rebuilt.
• This truck was owned by farmers in Wisconsin until we had it brought down here over 8 years ago. “Clem” has been driven regularly (weekends) with occasional trips of up to 70 miles without trouble.
• Price will include some extra parts incl. replacement headliner and kick panels.
• Many enthusiasts believe that the 1940-41 Fords were the best looking pickup trucks ever made, and we agree. Parting with “Clem” will not be easy, but is financially necessary.
