Frame mounted toolbox

A few years ago I bought a frame mounted toolbox for my A. Today I decided to install it. Now I find out that it is for a 1928/'29 and won't fit my '30. I am hoping someone will have one that will fit my 1930.

Your picture links to photo bucket that not everybody uses also it’s marked as private. You may want to post the actual photo and not a link to it.

I would be happy to post the picture directly. Please tell me how to do it.

Check the size maximum in the "manage attachments" popup.
Your picture seems to work from here.

Maybe we are more photogenic ...

Re: Frame mounted toolbox

I have one mounted on my 31. Purchased it from the guy who made them. Do a search on Olympic Speedsters. He might be able to help you. For it to fit right the car horns have to be straight. Can’t be twisted. That’s the reason he quit making them. Check out his web page. A lot of hand made Speedsters.

I found out who originally made these boxes. He has just turned over the tooling to make them to one of his employees. The boxes can now be ordered again. Contact Skyler Deviney at 816 690 8464.

Good to know, Chris. I wonder if they will be available thru Mike's A-Ford-Able again?

I returned 2 Tool boxes to Mikes because I was not satisfied with the quality!

Would you mind telling us what the problem was? I ask because I really like mine.
