The Ford Barn - High Compression Head

This is an old stock high compression head. It has been bead blasted, magna-fluxed for cracks (none), and surface milled. Note that it has the letters
"M O D E L A" on the top and it has the heart shape high compression cylinder chamber. The water pump shaft boss is really nice - about 1/32" wear. It is ready to install and give you about 10 more horse power over the standard Model A head. The new reproduction heads are green castings and many of them are warped or will warp as the casting cures. Milling a head is about $75.00. This head is 75 years old and won't give you those problems.
Since it is heavy and I have no idea where it will be shipped, I will wait for your inquiry. You are welcome to pick it up in NW Arkansas, or, in November I will be heading to south Texas and would be happy to drop it off enroute.
