Big range of prices

I'm looking to buy a luggage rack for my rear mounted spare '30 TS. The prices range from well over $200 plus shipping to one from Gearhead in Iowa for $139 and free shipping. I know you get what you pay for but the pictures and descriptions all look the same and I suspect they are all made in Taiwan.
Any advice? I would also appreciate any guidance on what kind of extensions to use, the bent bars or the more expensive ones which apparently replace the ones which come with the rack. Thanks. BTW Gearhead on EBAY shows two right together, one for $150 and one for $139 and both look exactly the same. Confusing.

I have found that even with the extensions on my TS you have to remove the rack to get to spare tire with that style. I have an original 29 rack that I think will clear the tire which I need to try.

Could be. He used the same pictures though. I'm hoping someone who bought one of his can give me an opinion on quality of it.

Bob, I would definitely get the more expensive heavy duty brackets. The trunk puts a lot of vertical load on the brackets plus side loads from wind. I just measured my heavy brackets and they are 3/8” thick.

John, are these the brackets you used or did you use the 3/8 thick bars with two bends in them ?
