Ford meets Ford 2 Attachment(s)
Hi all,
I thought you might be interested is seeing a couple of photos that I took of my 1931 deluxe coupe alongside EAA's 1929 Ford Tri-motor aeroplane, when it visited Jackson, Michigan last month. Doug |
Re: Ford meets Ford Submit your pictures to Dale at AHOOGA.com for his calendar! Very nice.

Re: Ford meets Ford I agree, that's a very nice calendar picture! I hope you took a ride in the Trimotor. It's a lot of fun, especially in the copilot's seat.

Re: Ford meets Ford It's coming to Bartelsville, Ok. next month. We are planning a trip to see it.

Re: Ford meets Ford The Tri-Motor was at the Greater Rockford Airport last weekend. It is a must and the EAA caters to Model A guys....

If you plan to take the ride in the Ford Tri-Motor here is a video of the typical flight. |
Re: Ford meets Ford What great pictures!
Ours were not as good - we had to rush in to get the shots between refueling and the next flight. We got to visit the Tri-Motor in Elkhart, IN in early July. Better yet, got to take my son on his first EVER flight. What better plane than a Ford Tri-Motor! https://s-hphotos-sjc1.fbcdn.net/269..._4601414_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...1_131680_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net..._7628867_n.jpg |
Re: Ford meets Ford those are great pictures

Re: Ford meets Ford What engines are on that plane? They sure don't look like a Henry design.
|
Re: Ford meets Ford Pratt & Whitney's. This Ford Tri-Motor was outfitted with two 450 HP engines and one 550 HP engine, it became the most powerful Model 4-AT ever flown.
