Tail light brackets?

These came with a bunch of parts when I bought an AA about 20 years ago. One looks like it was cast from an original part with numbers and the other like it was made from a good pattern. These were cast in what looks like bronze. What would they fit or be correct on? Thanks.

Hello GB,
The AA-13473 design 2 tail lamp bracket was used April/May 1928 - er/29. It was installed at the rear of the AA frame. Check out page 4 of the pdf found at https://aafords.com/aa-chassis/aa-13510-electrical/ (has picture of the bracket installed).

Originally there was only a bracket for the left side. I am guessing that yours were made as for left and right hand usage.

Thanks Neil. My wife is still off work from covid (not her)and I've been giving her old vehicle parts to sell. I have had Three AAs. I tried to post some photos, but they are deep in my old computer and won't show up. I love AAs with a passion, and always will.

Re: Tail light brackets?

Could be some of the brackets that Tom Godish, Model A Ford Works in the Portland Oregon area cast some years back.
