Late 31-Upper Grille Shell Color?
 

On late 31 coupe with 2-tone paint (maroon and black), should the upper grille shell panel be body color or black?

That's what color it is (or was...it's kinda rust/maroon now). I'm just not sure if it's supposed to be.

I painted the one on my 31 sport coupe body color.

It can be black or body color for a '31 shell. It's your preference.
