Door Alignment
 

Need help i have a 31 s/w the left and the right front doors do not line up with the rear doors both front doors are lower than the rear doors by less that a quarter of inch, how do i make the front doors the same as the rear , Thanks for your help

If shims are removed from where the front bolts connect the cowl to the frame it will raise the rear of the front doors when the front cowl bolts are retightened . If there are no shims ender the front cowl connection , adding shims under the rear cowl bolt connection will have the same effect . . . Shims under the body to frame bolts controls door adjustment . It will take experimentation to determine how many shims to remove or add after retightening the bolts .

All my doors line up and close perfect, after I changed the rusted full length subrails ,and replaced some of the door hardware.
