Seat Removal We have a 1929 Model A fordor Briggs leather back. I am recovering the seats and can’t see how to remove the back of the front seat and the side wings on it. Anyone have any suggestions or diagrams?

If I understand what you are asking, I don't think they are removable easily??

Re: Seat Removal I understand you said you had a '29 BUT on my '30 BRIGGS Blindback the back is nailed to the bottom wood all the way around. The material is stretched over the metal and nailed under the bottom wood. Hope that helps!

Re: Seat Removal Thanks, Sounds like I won’t be able to take that out to recover it.

Re: Seat Removal I have a 30- 3 window four door and a 31 s/w and they both are attached to the wood around the seat frame.

Re: Seat Removal I have a leatherback briggs. There is a metal bracket holding the seat back to the door pillar, about at upper arm height when sitting in the seat. The bottom seat frame is screwed to the floor. Take the side brackets off, remove the base screws, and the whole seat frame will come out.
