The Cherokee Garage has been my wallpaper for years now...neat car, neat hardware and garage, and some slinky looking women in there! Pickups just don't look right to me without some dust and wear...that just ain't natural!

By the way, search "Ford" on Shorpy. There are neat dealership pictures and lots of cars.

I also love the old pictures in Shorpy. In fact, I had my computer guru son create the attached picture for me for my screen background from the picture of the Hendrick Motor Company in Maryland. A little vanity (or wishful thinking) on my part...

If you look around, there are a number of excellent late T--early A period dealership photos, including parts counters and garage shots. When you hit the button for the large versions, the available detail and sharpness of the photos is astounding!
Search "Ford", but then just do some browsing. The indexing is not really adequate for car nuts, and there is cool stuff throughout the site.
Site pretty much covers the entire history of photography up into about the 1960's, and draws on archival photos of the highest quality.
There is a button off to one side for ordering framed enlargements, and their associated "Vintagraph" site sells repro depression era posters...all just a wonderful collection of images, Train and Military nuts will enjoy the site quite as much as car nuts.
