1950 car Seat Mounting Bolts Anyone know size of bolts that hold front seat to frame rails in a 1950 Ford Car?

Re: 1950 car Seat Mounting Bolts Maybe 3/8 coarse thread?? Been a long time since I had my 50.

Re: 1950 car Seat Mounting Bolts if i remember correctly they are 5/16 coarse thread because you use a 1/2 inch wrench

Re: 1950 car Seat Mounting Bolts I'll try each size to get it right, thanks.

Re: 1950 car Seat Mounting Bolts Body parts catalog shows a 3/8-16 x 2” bolt with lock and flat washers.

Re: 1950 car Seat Mounting Bolts Those seat bolts pass through the body mounts into the frame, so be careful the rubber
biscuits and a shim or two do not move. Although they are most likely corroded to the body or the frame. |
Re: 1950 car Seat Mounting Bolts Dan has the correct info. Also be careful that the body mount rubber biscuit and possible
shim(s) do not move, as the bolt passes through the mount and into the frame. Likely the rubber is corroded and 'fused' to either the body or the frame. |
