Re: Can I Safely Open Spider at Steering Column They are easy to get off but hard to get back on. My wife had to help me with this and now I owe her big. Also, some of the clips that the vendors are selling need modification to fit.

Re: Can I Safely Open Spider at Steering Column Well here's the truth... the horn started "growling"...not blowing just an occasional low growl, that stops when I actually blow the horn. I wiggled the wires at the spider and it growls....so I was thinking.............I was thinking it's only once in awhile, it's a horn not the lights, if I touch this it will become a complete rebuild of the entire car......I was thinking!!!! I did just now lay under the car and cleaned the "drain" hole...should I shoot some WD -40 in there or something more more solvent like....help. Thanks.

Re: Can I Safely Open Spider at Steering Column I'd remove cover and look, no spray, easy to do! Or maybe try some electrical spray cleaner, never tried that but might work. You can do it!!!
