Anyone running a 6v fuel pump that is quiet?

Wondering if anyone knows of a good 6v fuel pump that is quiet when it is running? I installed a carter vein pump to feed my weber downdraft. It works great and the car runs great but the pump is obnoxiously loud. Its gotta go. I see macs has one for around $55. Is it quiet? Any better than the $30 pumps on amazon that look identical?

I'm running a British SU, it just clicks every second. They come in 2 versions, a 'sucker' to mount near the motor, or a 'pusher' to mount at the tank. You wouldn't hear the one by the tank.

Oops, sorry, we're talking Model A so the tank isn't at the back.

On my smiths compresser I have a SU pump, 12v, I cut out a lot of the spring so it would have low pressure and work on 6V, no problems flooding out the zenith

This is the one I run. I can't hear it when the engine is running.

In my 40 I'm running an AirTex also. No noise.

Airtex was sold to Trico in 2019, so inventories may have changed since folks bought theirs. Trico owns Carter as well.

I have a 6V airtex on my '53 flathead and I can barely hear it run
