Merc Awesome Sunset

Yet another awesome sunset here in Sask. last night. Stormy skies produced some remarkable colour combinations. I had to downsize this panoramic shot considerably to upload here. No photo shopping here. Just a little light adjustment as it was getting dark. Naturally I had to use the Merc in the photos. It was a hot summer evening but not a problem for a two mile drive.

Great picture Ralph. I'm loving that weathered 4-door Merc!

Nothing quite like a prairie sunset. The sunrises can be equally spectacular.

Thanks for sharing your great photo.

Thanks Doug. I know the patina look is not for everybody but its my choice for this car and I'm happy with it. Its a driver so I don't worry about a stone chip or gravel road dust on a top quality paint job.

Ralph, on the patina, it's your car and it should be the way you want it!! Also from your videos, looks like your roads almost require that kind of finish!!

Beautiful shot of the sunset. Thanks for posting. Have never been to Alberta, but love your shots of the fields, farm equipment, and the acres of canola!!

Its actually Saskatchewan. And yes, I know of some that have much nicer cars that won't venture onto a gravel road.
Thanks PeteHoovie for blowing up my picture to a more visible size here. I've included the photo in this video from last night. Rear bumper mounted camera really picked up the sound of the single straight pipe on the Merc. I never get tired of that sound even if it does get a few dislikes on the channel.

My apologies, Ralph. I knew it was Saskatchewan! And, I really love the topography you post in your pictures!! Gorgeous part of North America!!

Regards....Dick.
