Re: 97 stromberg on a standard 28 -possible? I run a 97 on my A ,no fuel pump ,it will run up hil,l on the flat, and full throttle right down to empty.
Do a search under my posts and see the float valve mod I did, Lawrie |
Re: 97 stromberg on a standard 28 -possible? I would recommend the new Strombergs made in England, a lot less trouble. They actually just started reproducing an 81 sized carb which I have yet to try but seems very good.

Re: 97 stromberg on a standard 28 -possible? A single "97" will work just fine.
If you were running a dual carb intake, 2 "81's" would work best. Chris W. |

Re: 97 stromberg on a standard 28 -possible? Use one 97, or two 81 carbs on a Model A. You can use two 97 carbs, but must run them lean.
