wow - not many if any useable pieces off that...is the crane homemade or is it a weaver?

What did it go for?

To get a crowd they need to offer a free doughnut with every purchase. :D

I went to a few auctions near Benton Harbor, MI, where the auctioneer gave a silver dollar to each of the first 20 people to show up.

heh well it gets people there, then they see something shiny they want and they stay. Then they figure well I've already got a number I might as well bid on that thing too!

"Do your homework"; where would I go to do my homework? Are there references for cobbled-together, chopped, non-original, missing doors, seats, splash aprons, fake roof, incorrect hood yard art that's not worth the time to tow it home? Sure wouldn't want to a a "stupid offer". Why don't people put a price on their treasures?

The Boom was a Manley. I didn't stick around for the price, I was mad at myself for getting duped. Somebody asked what I thought it would bring, I said maybe $100 for the boom anf they would leave the rest. With today's scrap price it has negative value. I think it's a 29, with a 4 speed and disc wheels. Worm drive rear, cut down frame and driveshaft,

yea about the high dollar parts on that thing are the 4 speed bellhousing only, and if the rearend is any good with a high speed ratio, and the crane itself.

thats the downside to piles like this as you would need a decent trailer with a winch on it just to get it home to disassemble and scrap about 70-80% of it...

This isn't mine, and i didn't post it to "be helpful", but just to show people there are better ones out there. You can buy cheap and get junk. Or pay up and get something decent. I never liked "homework" either and I agree, he should post price.
