How many barners are registered to come to New Jersey for the meet? It runs from September 9 to September 11. We have over 110 registered so far.:D

No you can't just show up, you have to register before. The registration form is on our club web site. Barry, don't be a sissy, it's not that far. I drove my roadster to French Lick and that took 3 days. your drive is a few hours.

I dont think driving through new york city and into new jersey would be a calming experience. I will skip this one, and go to maine next year. Less traffic in maine.

Re: 55Th Annual New England Meet

I am looking forward to attending the NEW ENGLAND MEET in New Jersey along with, probably thirty fellow Long Island MAFC memberships.
Driving HOME through Manhattan on SEPT 11 is my greatest concern.
The NEW ENGLAND MEET includes clubs from PA to Maine.

INTERNATIONAL MODEL A FORD DAY will be celebrated on SEPT 10 on the NEM tour which will probably have 150 cars.
PETER M, no one will check your registration any more than at a national meet if you are just walking around. Give me a cell call if you are there.

WE STILL HAVE IMAFD PATCHES for the 2011 event for $25 for ten, includes S/H.

Yes, my feelings exactly Bill. I can't imagine going through all the NY traffic to get there.

Re: 55Th Annual New England Meet

Is there going to be any sort of show or open hours or anything? I live only 20 minutes from the hotel but wasn't planning to register my car since it lacks an interior for judging and I lack the confidence for an extended tour as I'm still getting acquainted with her. I was really looking forward to this as a chance to see some high quality A's since I'm new to the hobby but the information posted leads me to believe this is somewhat private unless registered and no spectators are allowed even if I show up in an A. I don't mind paying an entrance fee but the info page doesn't mention any show or open hours, just a flea market. Do I need to register to go in the flea market?

Confused,
Bob NJ

Trip to Vermont went well. Picked up my brother Darrell in Orange, and we drove further north to my other brother Darrell in Canaan. Had some good dinners at the Spa in West Stewartstown, took a nice doodlebug ride on the dirt roads, and talked about going to the New Jersey New England meet in the 70's, when the traffic was half of today, and the speed limit was 55, and there were no cell phones implanted in people's ears.
