Red's headers I have purchased a lot of stuff from Red's Headers and always been happy with everything. Recently I opened up a bag of cylinder head acorn nuts and found out I had 47...... one short. I've been calling, sent email, smoke signals, whatever, with no luck. I am just asking if anyone has had any recent contact with them. Thanks.

Re: Red's headers Funny you mention this. I've also had great service with Red's. I wanted to order more head gaskets and found the store on their website difficult and almost unusable. It was unusual since all of my other transactions were seamless.
I just haven't had time to give them a call to see what's going on. |

Regarding their website, there is one ending with .com and another ending with .net, this is the one to use, although I don't know the story behind this, and it is kinda difficult to use. |
Re: Red's headers Hate to her that. I have always had good experiences with Red's in the past. Hopefully they are just having temporary staffing issues or something
|
Re: Red's headers I’ve called them about 3 years ago and had no problem ordering an exhaust pipe to go with my reds headers. They help me get the correct one as they had two listed on the website.

Re: Red's headers Just in case this all goes south and you don't get your missing acorn, I have a partial set here and would be pleased to send you a couple. Send me a PM

Thanks for your generous offer GB, I believe I found a source for the same acorn nuts, who sell individually or in bulk. Who knows, might even be the source Red's used. I posted the same question about Red's on the HAMB and one guy said he tried to buy a Model A header last summer and never got to through to anyone, bummer. |

Re: Red's headers Specifically, which is the one that works? ".com" or ".net"?

Re: Red's headers I just received this on the Flat Spot forum:
Bill BoomerScott Engelhart they are very much open. Their webpage was hit by a scammer. Victor J. R. Garcia is working very hard to fix the page and is also selling as fast as he can get parts in. Be patient and keep phoning. I received a large order 10 days ago in Canada. |
Re: Red's headers Ah, makes sense. It just wasn't adding up from past experiences. Thanks for reporting back.

I found them at ALLEN'S FASTENERS, Ronnie Roadster told me about them. Also got some ARP items from them, very reasonable prices. |
Re: Red's headers Has anyone else been in touch recently with Red's Headers? I ordered and paid for a set of headers November 12. They had the headers in stock according to the website, but I haven't received them yet. I've tried to get in touch with them by e-mail and phone without any success.

Re: Red's headers O K Pete, you got me. My "little gray cells" ain't what they used to be. I remember the bicycle and actually like them better than the Schwinn. Just like I like our old Flatheads better than S M C

Re: Red's headers Quote:
I thought I'd try to call them today,.... I could find no phone number on the website. |

OK, so not on their company website but FaceBook, we'll see. |
Re: Red's headers Found the same number when I googled them and it shows on a side bar. My guess is that they have limited staff and responding to email inquires is more time effective. IMO once you do reach them you'll be satisfied with their knowledge and products.
|
Re: Red's headers I did get the headers after two months. No response to email or phone messages though. Nice product, although we had to modify the driver side as it interfered with the frame.
