Re: Favorite "A" Body Style Tastes change over time and especially as you get older. My favorite car as a teen was the deluxe roadster. Now, at 79, I like the Fordor town car. I think my car is a 170B.
|
Re: Favorite "A" Body Style I tried to make my post a poll, but the all of the body style numbers did not show. My favorites are the 45B Deluxe Coupe and the 190A Victoria Coupe.

Re: Favorite "A" Body Style Canadian, Sport Roadster. Built for a short time starting August 1929. Although still classed as a 40-A, the following features differ from the Standard Roadster;
> Folding windshield with Nickel plated brass stanchions. > Dust hood (top boot). > Driver's side mounted spare wheel and tire. > Trunk rack. > Full length rear bumper bars. > Rumble seat. > Special paint colors, Mount Vernon Green, Nankeen Brown and Henna Red. Mouldings and Rear Deck were Black, with a double stripe of Cameo Cream. |

It wouldn't matter because my two favorite (-OK, three favorite) bodystyles for the Model-A that I would want for my collection are not listed anyway... :D First, would be a toss-up between my choice of the Edsel Phaeton or the Drauz Cabriolet, ...and I definitely would love to own the late Ron Rude's Kentucky-bodied 1927 Ford Model-A delivery too. . . https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/attac...1&d=1708355026 . . https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/attac...1&d=1708355026 . . https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/attac...1&d=1708355026 . . |

A sign in a wooden boat builders shop read; "If God wanted fiberglass boats, he would have made fiberglass trees". I don't know of any reference to wood and steel cars, so, assume both are good! |
