howdy from mrmoose 1 Attachment(s)
I just wanted to stop by and say howdy. I haven't posted here in several years...had some health issues and a little lack of interest....but good to see you folks still getting it on. I still currently own Amos, my 1934 8-46 pickup, but am considering selling him....we'll see. I don't drive him much and it is increasingly hard to wrench him. I'll try and post a picture as some may remember this fine old truck. Hope you are all staying well and having fun!

Re: howdy from mrmoose HEY, welcome back Mr Moose. We missed you. Take good care of yourself, Okay?
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose Truly a beauty Jeff. Doesn't get cleaner then that one.
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose Hey Jeff (aka Mr Moose), good to see you posting here again. Hope you're over those heath issues and you get your interest back.
PS..Amos is still looking great!! |
Re: howdy from mrmoose That is one gorgeous truck.
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose That looks to be an outstanding truck.
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose I agree with everyone; that is one great looking truck. I think about getting something like that from time to time, to replace my '99 F150.:) Then I realize that I'd still need the F150 for dump runs, etc., and I'd have one more vehicle to keep looking pretty, and I'm jerked back into reality.:(

Re: howdy from mrmoose YES YES I remember Amos..... I remember some of your old posts changing out shocks and springs. Do you still have the green '41 too ? Stay well and keep on the path to better health.

Re: howdy from mrmoose WELL! Welcome back, old friend! Just talked with Vic a few weeks ago, asked about you - he said you had simply disappeared: I am thrilled to see you back, and pray your health issues are history! Do you still have your license plate collection and the Miller (I think!) sign? Shoot me a PM if you want to talk about Amos.

Re: howdy from mrmoose Hi Jeff,
Like many of your old friends I am happy to hear from you and see Amos. Barb and I enjoyed your hospitality once at your shop. Keep healthy John |
Re: howdy from mrmoose Welcome back home!

Re: howdy from mrmoose Good to see you and Amos, hope you are well enough to get around this winter, Chuck Webster FL
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose That sure is one fine looking truck! Hope you decide to keep it and hang around the Barn.
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose Jeff - CRS strikes again: Margretha reminded me that it is Schlitz, NOT Miller (shudder)!
Let us hear from you..... |
Re: howdy from mrmoose Good to here from you Mr moose ! Us yougens need all the wisdom and knowledge we can get !

Re: howdy from mrmoose Howdy. I hope that "better late than never" is still appropriate. I posted here a month ago, then had another let's say less than special month, but here to say hello again and hope all is well with you all. Amos sittin' in garage waiting for a little clean up and some ambition (which I suspect is just around the corner!).

Re: howdy from mrmoose Don't sell it unless you absolutely have to.
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose Jeff ~ Just fired off an email to you: looking forward to catching up and also praying your health issues subside! Best to Kris, also!
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose Welcome back, just looking at that beautiful truck make me feel better, enjoy the history of your Ford.
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose Hello John. I hope all is well with you and Barb up there. Last few years have been a little rough here, but things are looking up. I am letting Amos go....likely end of this month, swapping for a later model vehicle.
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose sorry to hear you are letting Amos go, I have wondered why I have not seen any post from you in quite awhile. I let a friend of mine talk me into selling him the green 41, it is now his everyday driver, so it is getting used like it should be.
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose Thanks for stopping by and I hope all goes well with your sale of Amos. Best of luck and have a great 2022!
|
Re: howdy from mrmoose Use that truck as your therapy. I for instance, when something bums me out, go for a ride in my avatar car for some "roadster therapy". From your truck's look, it only needs to be driven. A local buddy can wrench on it when necessary. Take care and good luck.

Re: howdy from mrmoose mrmoose its good hearing from you. Sorry to hear you have been having a rough time.
You would always be sorry if you let Amos go. Best wishes from California. Bruce |
