533 HP on the dyno. I posted a photo a week ago of a flathead Ardun conversion at a local car museum nearby me. Here is the dyno run video. Too short but pretty cool.

Re: 533 HP on the dyno. Amazing

Re: 533 HP on the dyno. If someone told you a supercharged Hemi made 500+ HP it probably wouldn't impress you very much.

Re: 533 HP on the dyno. Fantastic numbers ... curious - are Ardun conversions actually not considered flatheads?? I thing SCTA Bonneville has them as a different class that does not compete against a flathead??

Re: 533 HP on the dyno. 1 Attachment(s)
It was built by Rick Schnell here in Minnesota. Its based on a 1951 Merc block. Here is another view. The thing is so shiny its hard to photograph.
5000+ RPM's - 533HP - 488 FP's of torque |
Re: 533 HP on the dyno. The only thing that beats cubic inches is cubic money.

Re: 533 HP on the dyno. Awesome numbers!!
I wonder how much boost!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Re: 533 HP on the dyno. I wonder on the boost too. I am going to use a 6-71 on mine and everyone tells me it is to much. I see that it works! I do see he's under driving his.

Re: 533 HP on the dyno. This info was below the vidio:
"Original Ardun heads, 6-71 roots 13psi, 6 Strombergs, Built with the same bottom end as the Slider Blown fuel flathead dragster." |

Yes, but a Hemi that is more than likely under 300 cubic inches and 13 psi boost, it's pretty darn impressive . Sal |
