The V8 part looks like Ford.

Re: Any one recognize this emblem?

The V8 looks Ford-y but the wings look MoPar-ish - but Chrysler products of the era were inline. Aftermarket?

Ford had a lot of versions. But that one looks kind of European for some reason. No idea...

Ford Tri Motor had 3 radial engines. No V8s in it. Regards, Kevin.

Could be home made or a one-off. Dimensions and a picture of the back would be nice for fun. Looks small like a pin of some sort.

One-off case radiator hose pipes I have. No idea where they originated from....

Re: Any one recognize this emblem?

Could be from the company that mfg. aircraft that used the Ford v8. I have seen that emblem somewhere before.

The V8 version of the 1937 Channing Swift.
This is the V12 emblem.

Could you make a V16 one for a Gravely mower?
Nice photo shop

Hi, I still think this badge is for a 1937 Hudson 8 cylinder trunk. Hudson had a Vee shaped triangle incorporated in their logo and their club magazine is known as the white triangle.

You are correct that is very similar to the Hudson Emblem.
I owned a 1937 and I was the Hudson club librarian for several years,
so I'm familiar with them.
My first thought was it is a skirt emblem from a 37 Hudson eight,
but they use an H instead of an 8.
This piece might have been made using a Hudson piece to copy?
It's not my part , just helping to ID it.

Re: Any one recognize this emblem?

Personally I think it looks a little crude to be from a major manufacturer. I would lean towards it being an accessory item from the likes of JC Whitney or similar. The other V8 badges shown show a certain design flair distinctly lacking in the one being asked about.

Knowing the size and type of fittings on the back would also help.

But for me, I'd be surprised if it was OE fitment on a mass produced car.

Of course, I'm always willing to be proven wrong.

Mart.

I seen a little foreign car today that had wings with their medallion in the middle.
I believe it was a Mini Cooper.

Re: Any one recognize this emblem?

Austin cars used a stylised wing motif, that would be the "nod" to history in the Mini badge. (The first Mini's were Austins, the latest type are BMW. BMW at one time owned Rover, the last remnants of British Leyland, which absorbed Austin).

I did my apprenticeship at "The Austin" and saw many a Mini roll down the line.
