Re: FL&WVMIKE (Mike Burch) Micheal and family - Our hearts are broken to hear this news: you can be proud that your Dad was a true friend to anyone who needed his help and willingly gave of his time and talent. We visited a number of times, talked incessantly about past races on the beach, and he was always so gracious to share....... We had no idea he was failing, but I can assure you that he is piloting a Phaeton thru the streets of Heaven, top down! Cherish his memories; I know that we shall. May God grant you all His eternal peace, love and understanding.

While we have never met, Mike and I have been corresponding with each other for over 40 years. We started communicating when Mike was living in Spencer, West Virginia. Mike a dear friend of mine. I was shocked when I just read of his passing. Mike was a wealth of information and is going to be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this difficult time as they come to terms with Mikes passing. |

Mike was the proud custodian of these two original unrestored beauties, a 1934 Ford Deluxe V8 Phaeton and a 1935 Ford Deluxe Cabriolet. The 35 Cabriolet was featured in a recent issue of Hemmings Classic Car Magazine. Mike, you leave a big hole for the Early Ford V8 movement to fill. |
