Also heading out Tuesday, no trailer, just the old green coupe. Only 400 miles, just a nice trip.

Tacoma Bob, I hate to say this but that U.S. Open golf course looks pathetic compared to past courses they have played. Why is it so burned out?

Hey Bob, didn't get much of a chance to chat with you at the meeting last night but hope you have a great and safe/uneventful trip! (Same goes for everyone else attending). Wish I could join you all but my job obligations said otherwise. Hopefully next year..

Pluck, do you have any recommendations for all the Barners to get together at the meeting in Walla Walla and maybe a good time to do it?

Fred,

Not right off...it would be nice though...lot's of things going on...to many irons in the fire!

But let's keep it on the back burner for now.

I thought about a "Burger Burn" but can not even find the time for that.

Thanks Pluck, I know you would be very busy with the show and the fact you have a business to run this time of year. Maybe somewhere a bunch of us can get together.

Might not be a next time...at least not for a while...no one that I know of has steped up to the plate to do it.

oh my, that does not sound good, i heard that they will be every other year?..I got some old issues of the The Restorer and from what I read, the Regional meet started when the Evergreen's and the Portland Chapter would have a picnic/meet every year...Benny

Re: Packing for Walla Walla

Had a great time at the NWRM in Walla Walla. The Walla Walla Sweet A's should be congratulated for a great show. Yes there were a few hiccups like over 100 degree weather but the small club with the help of neighboring A clubs put on a great show is a beautiful area. Thanks for all your work!

Re: Packing for Walla Walla

Yes, we had a great time despite the hot weather. We went to the NWRG mtg. that lasted 1 & 1/2 hrs. Lots of comments on making the meets every other yr. & for only 3 days. Some would like to do away with judging if they go to a 3 day meet. Really nothing was decided for sure. Next year there may not be a regional meet but a club in So. Or. has offered to have the meet in 2017. Next yr. is a national in Colo.
