I always paid attention to what Lawson said on here as it was on target and easy to understand. I will miss his many inputs and contributions to this hobby we share. Fair winds and following seas, sir. Go in peace.

Thank you for letting us know and for posting the obituary. Lawson and I knew each other for about three decades. My wife and I stopped off to see him various times, and he and Jerry came to our home back when they were collecting information and pictures for the pickup book they were working on several years ago. oldandtired...aka Dean

Yes, thanks Tyla, for sharing this. Although I never met him, Lawson has been quite a visible presence around here for years. I sensed that he was slipping a little when he was preparing the V8 60 for the Ford Museum a few years ago. It seemed that he was struggling a little, as well as being frustrated with his slow progress. He will most certainly be missed. Sorry for your loss.

Lawson was always a great source of information on 35-37 pickups. He knew the subject and was happy to share. I will miss his comments.

Re: In memory of Lawson Cox

Lawson expressed humorous pride in being the eldest member of the Ford Barn, an accomplishment he handled easily from his recliner, but seldom mentioned any of his many higher achievements in life. Lawson, thank you for your Service in all your endeavors.
