- I am an mechanical engineer designing gas turbine engines. When i was in high school in '81, my dad said he had a '34 roadster I could fix up and drive. At the time I was more interested in a V8 Vega. I built the Vega - ho-hum. The roadster has been siting since '69. Dad recently said come and get it if you want it! Decades later now I am finally getting around to it and loving it!
