- First drove a Model A Ford (1929 Coupe) when I was 5 years old! First started a Model A Ford when I was but 5 years old. Helping my Dad with spark and gas as he hand cranked. Sat on his lap to drive the A. High school days - college were filled with Model A's and Model A group of friends. Had 2 1936 Ford 3-windows. One modded, one for parts. My interest and activities with old cars of one sort or another and things mechanical has been a 'life-long' journey for me...
