- I bought my first hot rod at 14 for 75.00. It was a 30 model A coupe. Money I earned delivering pappers and picking cherrys. It didn't have a motoror a trunk lid. By the time I was 15 I had scrounged a motor and was driving it up the canyons near our home. I have been infected with cars ever since.
