- I have been playing with Flatheads for over 50 years and I still learn something new about them every day. Ten years ago (2006) we held the first Florida "Barner's Bash", with Shelly aka Model "A" Lady. This year marks our 10th Anniversary. Hopefully it will be as good as all the past events. Several years ago we started the Cigar City Flatheads, our local club, and we have promoted the Florida “Barner’s Bash” as a Cigar City Flatheads event, along with our cruises up to the Moonshine Festival in Dawsonville, GA. I want to thank everyone for their continued support of the Cigar City Flatheads and I hope we’ll be able to continue to expand our group and the events we take part in.
