- I retired from the power co. in 2005 and renewed my interest in the antique car hobby. I had a 40 Ford from 70-78, a 31 Buick from 2004-2010, and built my speedster in 2005-7. I enjoy learning new things and did all the work on the speedster except the upholstery. I couldn't have got it running without help from the Fordbarn group. In Aug 2010 I purchased a 66 Pontiac LeMans-GTO clone. Got the car on the road in 2011 and really enjoying the car. I couldn't afford a real GTO so this is the next best thing.
