- Vintage 1955. Remember my dad's 56 pickup, 64 4x4, 69 and 72 F250s, and all the rest. 1st family car was 56 Victoria, then 64 Country Squire, and 67 XL. My dad got me hooked on old cars talking about his late teens. He had a 35 coupe with double bumpers to keep his buddies from climbing up the back of the trunk as they pushed each other around town.
