- For the past forty years old Fords have kind of ruled my life and kept me more or less broke. First ground-up restoration was a 27 Model T coupe. Then a color-matching 28 Roadster. Wanting to go "faster" i took on a 37 Cabriolet 'restoration which had been a stock car racer in the fifties. (Can't imagine why a convertible would have been used as a racer!) Still have it. Have provided "temporary homes"for many other old Fords. Sold some that i shouldn't have (haven't we all?) In addition to the restored 34 and the 37 Cabriolets, i also have a 38 coupe (bought late 80's as i recall). A nice original 36 3 window coupe (same purchase time-line) and have a 34 3 Window under construction. Also presently helping my son with a 33 pick-up restoration. Long highway cruises happen with a 66 Mustang convertible.
