- Biography
- Grew up in a small town and have been interested in cars since I was a toddler. I developed an interest in old cars as a teen. My first car was a Model A coupe that I never got on the road. My first driver was a 56 Chevy. I have also owned a 47 Chevy woodie and a 54 Ford F250. I finally bought a Model A again. I next bought a 28 roadster. I was looking at flathead V8's, but I couldn't resist this roadster.
I still wanted a flathead V8, so I kept looking. I wanted a 39 Ford Deluxe, as it is among the most reasonable 30s flatheads and I loved the styling. I also toyed with the idea of a 49 or 50 Merc.
I learned of what was supposedly an original unrestored 29 Ford and a 45 truck. Both sounded intriguing, so I went to look. Turns out the 29 was a rat rod and the original car was a 39! I loved the truck, too, so I bought both. I bought a 24 Model T stored since 62 The 51 convert was a steal, so I picked that up, too. My last acquisition is a 1910 Model T touring.
