- i have been building 1960-1980 style customs a long time.i have a couple friends that live near me that i am very lucky to have an learn from that deal strictly in pre-war high end brass era automobiles..from them i fell in love with a whole new era of cars that have completely taken my interest.this is like completely starting over in life,so much to learn from what interchanges with what an keeping things traditional.......................well anyway thank you all in advance for your help in all my questions.we all have the same love for cars here an mine not being a brass car which my fellow neighbors have so much knowlege about i need to meet people here hopefully that will help me with my love for my ford model a....still trying to determine exact year 30 or 31? an what rails i have..lol please dont laugh at me...i will prove to make a great car from what i have an small budget.thanks all....Derek Gerstmeyer foster rhode island..please dont hesitate to call me..love to talk an di
