- The journey began when I went with my father (Dal) to pick this car up when I was 12. There was a tree growing through it and it was a bucket of rust. For 20 years he scraped, polished painted and shined. He completed everything except the body. I had to sell it when he passed away in '05 and ironically, had an opportunity to buy it back after the body was restored. I continue the journey and laugh with joy when I sit in it. When I drive it, I laugh till I cry!
